¶ 5. Acceptable Use of AI Tools
AI tools may be used for moderate-risk tasks—such as summarizing complex materials or generating content that touches on sensitive topics—only when using approved systems with proper safeguards. Users must complete training on responsible AI use and data protection, and ensure sensitive data is anonymized or masked before entry.
¶ 6. Data Protection and Confidentiality
AI usage must follow organizational privacy policies, confidentiality agreements, and relevant legal frameworks. When sensitive information is required for processing, users must take steps to anonymize or mask it, document the reason for its use, and employ systems that meet security requirements. Data sharing or transfers to third parties must be approved in advance.
